  3. The Loveland Foundation offers black women and girls financial assistance with their therapy fund. Apply for assistance here.

  4. During COVID, Inclusive Therapists is offering tele-therapy at reduced costs. Visit the site to find a specialist available charging a fee you might afford. We would like to note that currently this site mostly lists specialist in northern regions of the USA.

  5. Harris Center provides a number of counseling and resources free of charge.

 

Sliding Scale Therapy Payment Options:

Most therapists are willing to charge patients based on what they can afford if insurance is not an option. This can be as low as $10 a session if you choose to see a counselor still in training. This is commonly used among therapists to ensure that treatment is available to as many people as possible.
